The biggest problem with making a generalization is that generally
they are wrong...

There's a little bit of difference in the two... I think the silly
Brits would put a house in the middle of our turning circle because
we're wasting all that good land!
We would consider the example in Stafford to be a dead end with no
provision for turning around. I'd have to back my truck out the road
as there's no room to turn in there. The local cars in the image seem
to have been washed in very hot water, they've all shrunk!
