Coming to a consensus upon "the most important objects" could take a lifetime.

We have to be happy with the people that add detail adding the details
that they are interested in adding.

The Brits seem to be very interested in mapping pubs. Since I don't
drink, and rarely go into a pub, mapping their locations seems to be a
waste of time to me. I'd put a lot more emphasis on radio
communication towers as they are of interest to me.

To each his own, and map what you want. Each mapper brings their own
wants and desires with them, and once everyone has what they want on
the map, we'll be done.
