Lo que está pasando es que el sistema de OSM está diseñado para *trazas* GPS, 
y no para *waypoints* GPS. Una traza es un registro de todos los puntos por 
los que has pasado, del estilo:

  <trkseg>
   <trkpt lat="40.385470" lon="-3.751398">
    <ele>663.160</ele>
    <time>2008-05-25T20:26:31Z</time>
   </trkpt>
   <trkpt lat="40.385484" lon="-3.751409">
    <ele>662.390</ele>
    <time>2008-05-25T20:26:32Z</time>
   </trkpt>
(etc)
  </trkseg>
 </trk>
</gpx>


Fíjate que tengo <trk> y <trkpt>; tú sólo tienes <wpt>. Por esto te dice que 
no encuentra puntos, porque busca <trkpt>s en vez de <wpt>s.


En cambio, si ese fichero GPX lo abres con JOSM, sí que te mostrará tanto las 
trazas (como una línea de puntos) como los waypoints (como pequeñas cruces 
con el nombre del waypoint). Te animo a probarlo.
