Not quite. The wiki is open to editing by everyone. Newbie's have to
decide if they are confident that what they want to add is correct. If
not then ask.

It was you who mentioned them! If it's the most accurate description for
the entity, then use them.

No I didn't. I never mentioned tags.
I'm using Wikipedia to convey the meaning of the relevant word(s), &
will continue to do so.

Again, not quite. It was obsoleted as a *key *tag & accepted as *value
*tag.
If you look further down that wiki page you'll see the XML attribute
names. are k & v.

It's my understanding that bridge has an implied tag of level=1. I only
add level=* when I have multiple bridges crossing each other.
Hmm... That reminds me; I need to add level tags to some power cable
where they cross an elevated road.

To reiterate, I'm using Wiki to clarify the understanding of the meaning.
Renderers can use the bridge=* for a catch all scenario. If they then
want to differentiate between the *different *types for their maps, then
they can.
