Kevin, can you provide a link to the area, or one of your change sets?
It does sound like somebody else was editing at the same time, perhaps
a bulk import of some type. This is a good argument for saving often.

Not sure how to send the link that you request. I went back into Edit of the
area and did a "click h". Potlatch has me as the originator of the green
dots so I must have done something to create them that I was not aware of. I
have now been back in and removed the dots that were attributed to me. There
were a couple of dots that represented things that are actually there that I
left in place.
