If what you want to do is to just display one trace that you know the 
number of, you can do it according to the instructions here:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GPX_slippy_map

So:
http://ojw.dev.openstreetmap.org/gpx/?gpx=179393
will display one of mine, for example.

Holding the mouse over the trace name in 
http://www.openstreetmap.org/traces will show the number.
