Hello-
I am trying to create my own custom cartography using OSM data. I have
had success in getting the style located here:
http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/rendering/mapnik/
which is the main map style, working on my local
OpenLayers/TileCache/WMS/ogcserver/Mapnik/PostGis/planet.osm installation.
I have also had success getting the style located here:
http://mapnik-utils.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/serverside/cascadenik/
which is the example style that comes with Cascadenik, working with my local
setup.
I can tell from looking at the osm.xml file in the main map style that it
was generated using cascadenik (or at least I think so, based on the
<CssParameter> tags). I would like to have the .mml and .mss that were used
to generate osm.xml. I cannot find these files in svn, or even any mention
of them via google.
Where can I find these files? Or perhaps, I am barking up the wrong tree,
and there is another approach to developing a custom osm.xml for rendering
osm data via mapnik?
Thanks in advance,
Vince
