[OSM-newbies] Uploading traces: no ack via firefox?

Yesterday I had the same problem.
I am sure, the problem is on OSM's side.

There seems to be no restriction in upload speed/thruput, but a huge latency on committing the upload.

I never had this before.
Yesterday I uploaded the same trace thrice.
