Newbies, and experienced mappers should not attempt to negotiate terms
of use with data providers without understanding the legal liability
to which they expose themselves.  The OSM Foundation should be
involved in any terms negotiations.

Do encourage data providers to license their data under compatible
licenses for OSM, such as the PDDL.

We should be aiming for much better terms when discussing permission
with data providers.  a requirement for source= is problematic, as
further editing may remove that attribution.  I suggest that future
terms list attribution (and possibly disclaimer) be limited to mention
at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Attribution
