Why not create an specific tag? Something like:
boundary=yes
boundary:type=wms_covered_area
wms_covered_area=yes
wms:type=yahoo

?
It's obviously modificable.

For solving this disputing.... I think if all of you are agree, I think 
it could be proposed like proposal tag.
