Hello,
I'm developing my own application which will be based on a map.
The use of the map is intensive, therefore I would need to setup my own OSM
server.
Questions:
1. I saw that there are many techniques for rendering tiles (mod_tile,
rendering all at once etc), which technique is best for intensive use?
2. I would like to get tutorials on how to setup my own OSM server.
3. Today, we have a solution that helps us keep the map up-to-date:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Minutely_Mapnik
Each update is a transaction that was submitted by a user.
Is there a way to say which tile was affected by those changes?
*I need it in order to save processing time.
Thanks,
Eldad.
