Nichlas,
I'm always glad to have a license discussion, especially in regards to
information for new people.
Let me clarify my statement now.
It's my understanding that the Bing imagery is a donation to the OSM
project. The raw imagery belongs to Bing and is under their Terms of
Use. OSM has been given access to this imagery for use by the project
for tracing.
This imagery itself is not part of the OSM project, and is not
available for tracing by other projects.
Data derived from this imagery is available from OSM under the OSM license.
- Serge
