[OSM-newbies] Built in vehicle GPS. Was Re: Nissan Armada GPS

This brings up a good point, there's many new vehicles now that come with
built in GPS devices, how about a wiki page that keeps track of them and
lists whatever details are known, perhaps which can be made to work with
OSM, etc...

What I know is that they all have a special CD or DVD with yearly data
updates on them.  If somebody had one of those it could be determined what
files are needed on it, and how we could output OSM to work on it.  Offering
free GPS navigation updates for specific vehicles would be a great way to
attract new users to the project.

I've been curious about doing something similar with the in-dash nav on
my mother's Kia.  Based on experience with other GPS devices, I'm
guessing (but can't prove) that it's a Navigon of some sort.  Wonder why
more carmakers didn't go with something garmin-based...
