[OSM-newbies] looking for a good introductory GPS unit

Thanks for the replies!

I'm really just looking for a data logger - maps and color screen would just
be a bonus - and I'd be happy not to pay for them if possible.

The legend HCX looks like a good fit - I think i'll pick it up.

I spend a fair bit of time in China and I noticed that OSM is still
developing in Beijing and doesn't have any data at all for some major
secondary cities (I know Wuhan in particular).  I'm not sure if there's an
OSM China email list...
