Whilst you may be correct, in his original post Clifford referred to a named
trail the " Burke Gillman trail" , which already exists in OSM, and the fact
that the new trail he wished to add used part of this existing trail, which
is why I took it to mean he was referring to something "more than just a
path".
In any case, I hope Clifford now has enough viewpoints to assist him in
whether this new "trail" should be added to OSM or not.
