[OSM-newbies] Mapnik rendering of Beaches

In case anyone was wondering about this, the problem is solved.  With the
combined help of David Earl and Graham Jones, we have found that the coastline
ways for the island are members of relations, which are used as marking
different level administrative boundaries.  One of the relations was also tagged
"natural=land".  It seems that Mapnik renders "natural=land" after
"natural=beach", so overwriting the beaches except in small areas seaward of the
boundary.

Looking at the wikihttp://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Map_Features#Natural , the
use of "natural=land" is deprecated, and is in fact superfluous.  So I have
deleted this tag from the relation, and having made some revisions in the area
to force Mapnik to re-render, the beaches have now appeared :-)
