[OSM-newbies] Tagging Stiles and Admin Boundaries

Hi

Many thanks for the response on this. I wasn't aware of the taginfo area so it is useful to know.

It would appear that the "style" I described is probably acceptable but given the past usage I should use "stepover" and "squeezer". These terms are fairly self explanatory but the wiki page on stiles doesn't have any information on the types or on how the might be tagged. Is anyone allowed to add to these pages or is there a process to go through?

Modern "stepover" stiles do sometimes have "dog gates". Would this be added to the same "barrier=stile" node as another tag, gate=dog_gate? A quick search only showed 2 instances of "dog_gate".

The Amin Boundaries seem to be more quite accurate where I am mapping (i.e. the follow the rivers on Bing, where as often the river doesn't), so I am going to leave them well alone.

Many Thanks

Dudley
