[OSM-newbies] Trunk highway going through a town -- how to tag

I immediately thought of this place I pass through frequently:

In this case, going off the same principle we have with "almost-freeways"
(i.e. tagging them as trunk roads), I think it makes more sense to tag it
as a trunk road because the undivided section is short and insignificant.
Though I don't know how similar your case is to this one. Could you show us
the specific instance(s)?
