[OSM-newbies] How to deal with unresponsive new users?

Hi,
when reading I just remembered how I once saw just "by accident" that there was a message waiting for me in my osm account. I had had that account for years already but I seldom access it's web interface. So chances are those seemingly ignorant users just don't read any e-mails.
(Probably there is a setting to get e-mails to your normal e-mail account but I haven't set ist.)
Best regards
Joachim
