[OSM-newbies] Speed Limits

 You would only need to do that on a single carriageway road. The A995 is dual-carriageway so its just a case of tag each carriageway with its speed limit.

I have never seen a single carriageway road with different limits in each direction.

It seems you can't add a limit's direction which would be an oversight. During the day, Munich's A995 is limited to 120 km/h going north and without limit going south.
