[Osmf-talk] OpenStreetMap Foundation board meeting

Hey-

Thanks for the minutes.
I see that SteveC has to "kick off a broader initiative for finding
more sources of aerial imagery".

One has to mention here that the french OSM community has made contact
with Spot Image [1] as they seek community advice in order to write
the terms of use of their "YouMapps API" [2] (to be launched on april
the 10th).
We now know that they are OSM-friendly and that they would like the
license of derived vector data to be OSM-compatible [private
communication].

For the beginnings of their API (which is said to be compatible with
OpenLayers), they said they were ready to feature hi-res imagery of 15
french cities.

More on this after we meet them on the 10th [3].
