I attended workshops at "SOTM US 2013" on Friday, June 7th. At last I
got it right how to map bus routs (Elliot Plack's "Mapping Techniques
with OpenStreetMap: bus routes and other transit information").

Felix Delattre's thought-provoking presentation "Community Mapping in
Nicaragua" , Artem Pavlenko's "The Secrets of Mapnik", Liz Barry's "Ways
to Bring Your Aerial Imagery into OpenStreetMap" and others during the
conference also had a superb training value.

So I definitively did receive an excellent training in San Fransisco.

However to do a project with some company or organization, which
involves OpenStreetMap, a developer may need a written document
confirming that she/he received a formal training in this field. It
could be called a certificate, an attestation, etc. and contain words
"... OpenStreetMap ... training ...". It makes it easier for a
developer, for a hiring person, etc.
