[Osmf-talk] AGM and board elections

My response was not really in earnest if that wasn't clear, more just
pointing out that we do have some diversity in the board in some
dimensions and in others not.

The important point for me is that we don't have glass ceilings in any
of the OSMF bodies, be that the board, MT or the working groups. This is
what typically the legislation and regulation of boards and similar
bodies that has been enacted in many countries is designed to combat.
And clearly if we had that issue I would support quotas.

Our problem starts a lot earlier and I suspect it is more the way the
project as a whole is perceived (as an archetypical male hobby) which
shies away a large part of our potential contributors. Unluckily it is
very difficult to counteract that without falling for stereotypes ourselves.
