I have to admit, that I've always known that we had a diversity
problem.

But I've been shocked by some of the examples that, have been given by
Kathleen, Kate, and Emilie.

>From what has been written, I don't doubt for a moment that we can
do things better, and there have been some really good suggestions.

One of the best things about OSM and OSMF is that we can do it. So
rather than waiting for the board to do things let get started.

I know there is a diversity mailing list, and I've signed up. But lets
get some proposals on the ground, and ask the OSMF board to sign up to
them, if they don't/won't (and I can't see why they wouldn't) then we
can propose a resolution at the AGM.

Does it make sense to actually have a meeting on this, where those
inteerested can start to form some proposals? (My preference is
on irc) again with the boards blessing potentially form an offical
working group if that starts to make sense?

I really wish that we lived in a world where we didn't need a anti
harassment policies etc, because in my mind it's just common decent
behaviour but clearly there are people that abuse it, and we can do
much better.

Cheers
Chris
