Thanks, that makes this much clearer and also makes the confidentiality
more understandable. If the company in question has contacted you with
the desire of confidentiality that should certainly be repected
although it should be clear that no special treatment can be expected
due to such confidential communications.

There has for some time been a draft in the works for a corporate
editing policy from the German community with the major contributions
coming from Nakaner:

This has also been subject of a workshop at the German FOSSGIS
conference recently.
In light of the editing activities you mentioned and the Facebook
activities i recently have also created an English version of the draft
(which is not a direct translation though, it has a slightly different
focus):

I have not pushed this forward yet, wanted to give it some more time and
thought making sure not to propose pointless rules and at the same time
trying to cover everything important. But if you want to discuss a
possible policy you might want to take the ideas collected there into
account.
