[Osmf-talk] Relationship of Facebook and Apple to the OSM Foundation

I'm aware that Facebook are a corporate member. This allows them to get a
discount on SotM sponsorship, but they tend to refuse the discount as an
act of goodwill.

Perhaps they also don't want promotion on the OSMF site when they
pay/donate corporate membership. Although I agree with transparency, the
page of corporate members should list the corporate members (which is it's
main aim).

Although it may seem clear, maybe the Advisory Board page could have an
extra column to state why they joined. "Local chapter", "Corporate Member",
"Invited" would be the most expected values, but could be clarified further
if desired.
