[Osmf-talk] Voting "recommendations" by employers (straw poll)

Frederik said this "their employers regularly suggested that everyone became an OSMF member, reimbursed them for the membership fee, and also circulated "suggested voting" instructions for the OSMF elections."
At Mapbox, we've encouraged each other to join OSMF, just like what happens across the OSM community -- if they are involved with and care about OSM. There are no voting "recommendations", but we have had internal discussions of OSM issues. The fee can be reimbursed if the cost is prohibitive -- we're a company with global presence, and in some places it's relatively expensive to join.

I'm not 100% sure what you are refering to as it must be the
original post by Frederik.

Anyway, help our members to build their own opinion, help being
transparent here as it should be easy for you to enlighten us wrt
Mapbox employees: Are Mapbox' employees asked to join OSMF? Does
Mapbox have (written) voting recommendations? Is there an offer
for reimbursement of membership fees for employees?
