[Osmf-talk] Welcome Mat for Organizations

I would like to see a separate category "Companies offering OSM-based
services and products", so we can move Mapbox and Telenav out the the
"Companies" list, which is supposed to contain "Big" companies.
We could then also add e.g. GeoFabrik, OsmAnd, General Magic (Magic
Earth) and the like.

And of course it would be nice when we show a more global list of
companies. But of course, by limiting to "Big" companies the chances
are small to list companies from all continents. BTW, right now it's
not clear what we mean with "Big" companies.

Another possible improvement would be a page (similar to
https://community.osm.be/ ) to allow companies to get in touch with
local communities via the preferred communication channel of the
community.

I'm not sure that it is clear from the current content that
hobby-mappers are really the backbone of the project, Also hobby
developers that advance the current tagging by implementing small
projects, are left out.

regards

m.
