I can confirm it by a case which did happen. I filmed a video about the
city of Zug and I asked my spouse to play the 1st movement of the 40th
symphony by W.Mozart for it.
She played it on our piano and I did the recording set-up.

On the second day after publishing this amateur video with the amateur
music: https://youtu.be/A-ZJk2vEkXo I started to receive the cease and
desist messages from an agency which represents a professional pianist
and also from Youtube that the video will be removed. I replied couple
of times with the explanation, and it seemed to stop.

I decided in the first place to use self-made music because I had
received already similar messages for the Creative Commons music, and I
had to write explanations. So indeed, filters absolutely make mistakes
both for the existing Creative Commons music, and for the self-played music.

Best regards,
O.
