I’ve also thought about this, and there is some truth to it, although there seem to be systems conceived to solve the problem through cryptography (maybe they could still be cheated if you had the private keys of the voters, not sure, in the end every system can be cheated if you assume a conspiracy of enough people in the key positions, if someone paid enough money to an OPA admin they could likely also game the election, of course this is not what I expect or fear).
