I'm a fellow candidate, and I didn't think there was any rules about
"campaigning" before the questions were published. I have already
engaged with OSMF members on social media about the election. I do not
feel any disrespect from Steve for this post, and see nothing wrong.
OSMF members are allowed to ask questions outside the """"official""""
list, and after the answers are published. The flip side of is that
candidates are allowed to campaign from the start till the end.

I don't think the OSMF is in a financial position now to send a board
member to every event with a SotM label. Alas. I was at SotM SEE and it
was great, OSM community events are cool.

I submitted a question to candidates asking about that¹. Unfortunately
it wasn't accepted, but I hope us candidates will answer it and inform
the members what they'd be getting if you were elected.
