Well - i try not to make assumptions, but when i read for example in

https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Licensing_Working_Group/Minutes/2019-09-12#Attribution_Guidance

> Facebook to provide feedback as well.

i wonder what that feedback might be and how it maybe has already found
consideration in decisions on formulations. Don't get me wrong - i
think it is good to invite feedback from large data users but i think
it would be best if that would be communicated and discussed on open
channels just like feedback from individuals.

Not to open yet another discussion - but the use of Google Docs for
developing a document with no transparently visible edit history and no
possibility to get notified about changes (at least not without getting
a Google Account) is not ideal (see also OSMF FOSS Policy). I
appreciate you investing the time to at least making a copy available
on the wiki:

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Draft_Attribution_Guideline

and as you can see this paid off since there have recently also quite a
few valuable comments been added on the talk page there but that is of
course not the same as actually developing the document on an open
platform where everyone can directly follow changes as they are being
made.
