Hi Simon,

Please check out the introduction to the following page on the OSMF website

As I mentioned, the LCCWG may in the future take on some responsibilities
in the local chapter application process. However, the working group
currently thinks there are more important things to tackle, such as helping
local communities organize themselves and to reach out and expand their
communities.
