[Osmf-talk] Mapping Uganda’s New Cities Project - OSMF Microgrant Application

Hi all,

MapUganda has submitted an application for the OSMF Microgrant, proposing a
project to Map Uganda's New Cities

Parliament of Uganda overwhelmingly voted to create 15 new cities in Uganda
<https://www.parliament.go.ug/news/4614/parliament-approves-creation-15-cities>,
effectively elevating 13 municipalities and 2 town councils to cities. As
the OSM Community in Uganda, we think this is our perfect shot at starting
these cities off with properly mapped data in OSM which will be used for
urban planning, disaster risk management, and service delivery in these
cities.
