I realize that we are a worldwide map and there may be places where this might not be true.  I will simply note that "18 years old" is "the age of majority" in most places.

So, if OSM were a person, we would be an adult who has reached the age of majority.

I am proud of OSM:  we are a mature project and most of the time (like most adults) we actually ACT like an adult.  We are "reasonable with others," we are self-aware and we make sound, good decisions for our future.  We have earned respect as we have arrived at this milestone.  Let us continue to grow into a bright, bold future.
