I agree that it's important for the survey results to be trustworthy.

My understanding is that we have the ability to run a members-only 
survey (without abandoning anonymity entirely) by sending a distinct 
once-usable survey link to each OSMF member's email address that they 
provided during registration. We haven't set up the survey yet, but the 
requirement is definitely on the board's radar.
