Hi Zeke and others,

I always thought that there are more objects out there then descriptions in the Wiki's.
If you declare a Wiki instead of a survey as leading, how do we get a non described object into OSM ? Or shorter don’t go out surveying if it is not described.
I do have the impression that a lot of the mappers don’t survey out there, they use aerials to contribute to OSM. Other mappers make many corrections, based on the database but it can’t be right or even is wrong.
What makes Open Street Map then better then Google & Co ?
After reading these remarks I would rather go the other way, make the survey and the Database leading for the Wiki. Otherwise, what is going to happen with non described objects, tagged with values, if you just follow the Wiki's and denied other contributions ?

Just my 10 cnts.
