Hi, all,
The OSM weekly linked to this today--and it got me thinking. A lot of
people don't necessarily see the OSMF listserv because they can't subscribe
to it if they aren't OSMF members. (They can see it, but it won't come to
their inbox and they can't reply.) There are 2100 OSMF members and about a
zillion mappers, so this seems like a miss for this conversation. Maybe
moving this to the community forum might be a good idea.
Also, since it seems like this is a popular idea, across all the different
communities, it seems like a good idea to decide on a centralized link to
some document to download, and/or a print-on-demand service from which
people could get an official business card, or a hat or vest with the logo
that looked official.
https://weeklyosm.eu/
Another idea of how to do this is that the OSMF could offer this as a
fundraiser
In any case, as a CWG member, I can do a blog post announcing this
resource, if others can organize what it will be and a centralized way for
people to get it.
