Some trails in Colorado, US appear to get little or no use from Strava
users, and thus do not show up on the Strava Global Heatmap (also, some
trails have been closed for an extended period of time due to the wild
fires we had in 2020 and the Strava heatmap only covers the last two years
if I am not mistaken).  GPS traces in OSM can provide evidence that these
trails really do exist and provide a good idea as to their spatial
alignment.
