Actually, I can think of plenty of actual examples of this. Sometimes it 
might be unhelpful communication that boils down to just "I am right and 
you are all wrong", but it can also be a genuine attempt to find a 
resolution to a dispute.

In such cases we (the DWG) would actually want the user to be able to 
continue discussion about edits even if they're currently blocked from 
editing because of making problematic ones.  I suspect that a technical 
effect of the way that forum authentication works might restrict their 
ability to do so there - see

.  That won't affect mailing lists or IRC though.
