I suspect they're not documented.  The name of the guy that wrote them 
eludes me (my memory is terrible) and a quick mail search didn't turn it 
up.  If you can find out their details I'm happy to see them listed on 
the wiki although they're fairly specific to tiles at home doing some sort 
of pre-processing of data before rendering (I forget the details of that 
as well ...).

As an aside I didn't realise they'd been accepted into tiles at home.  I'm 
pretty happy with that.  Osmosis is edging ever closer to OSM domination :-)
