[osmosis-dev] Across border routing problems in 2 merged country OSM.PBF files

Hello,

My application is not able to find any route between any sites across
country border,
if I use for map generation custom PBF, merged from 2 country PBFs.
Are country PBFs able to rejoin at merging border roads ?

Long story:

I am not yet very familiar with OSM vector data maps
and I am very new to Osmosis, so I can do something wrong.

I use J2ME application GPSMid http://gpsmid.sourceforge.net/ ,
using vector maps, generated from OSM.PBF (usually country limited )
planet extracts.
I use the ones from recommended site http://download.geofabrik.de/osm
<http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/>
where are daily updates of planet, continent and country OSM.PBFs.
All works well if I stay within a country borders.
If I want to create a map across the border, there is a problem.

I could download the whole Europe.osm.pbf, but prefer to avoid it,being
huge.
I was said by GPSMid doc I could download custom area from ROMA and some
other API,
but it always ends with E503-service temp. available.

I have tried to use Osmosis, more exactly through GUI front end OSMembrane,
to merge 2 country based OSM.PBF files. Merging was successful,
but maps generated from the merge seems not rout able across the border.

Fist I tried the OSMembrane pipeline Read PBF - Merge - BoundingBox -
WritePBF
then Read PBF - BoundingBox - Merge - WritePBF
then Read PBF - BoundingBox - Sort
- Merge - WritePBF

At BoudingBox feature I noticed options CompleteWays / Complete relations,
what I understand as if to add full way/relation, even if partly cut
away by box bordary.

IS POSSIBLE THOSE PBFs ON GEOFABRIC ARE EXPORTED
WITHOUT COMPLETE WAYS, NOT ABLE TO BE JOINED AT PBF MERGE ?
