Yes, the error message could definitely be more helpful. I've just made a
simple change to include the name of the option that it doesn't recognise.
For example if you added the option "-bogusoption" to the command line, it
would now say that it didn't recognise bogusoption as an option. This
could be improved on as you suggest by showing the entire command line and
highlighting the problem option, but that will take some more effort.
Patches welcome as always.
