[osmosis-dev] merging 2 files with negative id`s

Hi, i`m trying to merge 2 files, where each of the nodes and ways have a
negative id.

The files are generated from Cygnus, a conflation tool

I have around 100 of this files, and if i try to merge them together, i
will get a spaghetti map, because node -323 will be referenced x times,
once for every map that i load

It is possible to merge using osmosis files with negative values ?
