[OSRM-talk] public service announcement: GCC 4.7 support retired

Dear OSRM community,

this is a public service announcement to those of you that live on the edge, i.e. use develop branch actively. 

We just dropped support for GCC 4.7 after it had been deprecated some time ago. We did so by removing some workarounds in the build scripts to issues of this particular version. The minimum version support to build the OSRM backend with GCC is now 4.8. We encourage the few affected by this change to upgrade compilers.
