[OSRM-talk] Fatal (for older browsers) change to OSRM this week

Hi

As the admin of the server, I can tell you that the demo frontend at
routing.openstreetmap.de was recently updated.
The problem was that nominatim is now stricter with its api. And the
leaflet geocoder dependency was so old to have a bug in its api call.
So a friend was so kind to update most dependencies as required to use
the newer (fixed) geocoder plugin. But there isn't really a maintainer
of the osrm-frontend, so this was only a hot fix for this pressing issue.

If you can describe the problem in more detail, maybe there is a
possible fix. But having an ancient browser is in itself a huge problem,
that thing must be riddled with well known (and easily exploitable)
security issues. I feel with you, I like to use my devices for a long
time as well. But if you can't get a halfway recent browser to run, I
fear that is a lost cause.

best regards
Michael
