Alter the URL from (e.g.)
http://openstreetview.org/available/73b61870804df01157c748eb9576f71e1d5bc13e-square.jpg
to
http://openstreetview.org/available/73b61870804df01157c748eb9576f71e1d5bc13e-large.jpg

You can use the KML-file with your preferred application

You are very welcome to write some JS which pops up the HiRes image
when clicking the thumbnail. A feature request regarding this went
unheard so far.
