Agreed absolutely on both counts.

I think one thing to bear in mind, too, is that any CSS-like  
stylesheet is only an interchange format to be read, not a spec of  
how something should work internally. If Halcyon, or Cascadenik, or  
Cartagen, or whatever, has to remap the CSS into its own internal  
format, good - rather that than a lowest common denominator spec that  
people will want to exceed at the first opportunity.

I'd wanted to finish a first go at Halcyon's CSS parser for review  
and comment before going away on holiday, but got distracted by  
"classic Potlatch". Much of it is done, though, so I'll hopefully  
have something for release when I'm back later in the month. It'll be  
liberally licensed so I hope we'll be able to achieve convergence  
between the three without those pesky legals getting in the way!
