So I've not raised it on trac, but I got the impression that when I split an existing way into 3 or 4 sections when offline editing and then adding the middle section, it didn't get added properly. Whether this was to do with negative IDs or whether I just made a mistake somewhere I don't know, and don't really want to start splitting ways and amending relations on the live database to find out.

So thought I'd mention it here...
