[Potlatch-dev] Problem joining ways?

Hi,
Just noticed something this afternoon - not 100% sure if it is a Potlatch
error - but I think it maybe or maybe data error.

1. In off-line mode
2. Select a way
3. Combine it with an ajoining way (shift - left click)
4. Save
5. Immediately save fails with "Sorry - the connection to the OSM server
failed......"

See

35166311 & 6054358 (it would be really nice if I could cut and paste from
Potlatch) - eastbound ways of the I8 - left side of screen (these were
picked at random to illustrate the issue). I initially thought it might be
relation related, but I don't think so now.

I've seen the error a number of times today (don't recall seeing it
yesterday) and only just managed to pin down the pattern - also noted that
if many changes (different types of mods to joining ways) were done before
the save then some are processed and some are not, leaving interesting
results when you eventually refresh.

Strangely if I take a way, chop it, save, then I can rejoin OK, which makes
me wonder if it could be data related.

Regards

Phil
